born 1996, Norway, he / him. His art mainly features figurative oil painting on canvas, drawing and graphics. Even works with human emotions linked to the Nordic nature, and uses emotions such as loneliness, outsiderness, longing and childhood as central keywords in her artistic practice. The motifs can be colorful and sometimes romantic, but the themes and messages are often symbolic and melancholic. Apart from motifs from the childhood home, lonely trees set in a surreal setting are often recurring motifs. Even has always been interested in classical painting, but in recent times has been inspired by nature and landscapes set in a modern context. There are rarely people or animals in Even's art, but rather signs of a lived life and a dystopian approach to life. Even has had both separate and collective exhibitions in Norway, as well as decoration commissions for Bergen and Hamar municipalities.
